Gabriel's place was well-suited to our ten person family reunion. The location is in a stately and quiet neighborhood that is still walkable, less than a mile to coffee shops, several good restaurants, playgrounds for the two-year-old and the art museum. Gabriel is friendly, proactive and responsive. The house itself has much character, is masterfully decorated and came with every required accessory and kitchen gadget. We felt right at home.

After having our last Airbnb cancel, we were so excited to come across this listing. The house was even better than described- it was clean, full of character and in a fantastic neighborhood. It perfectly fit our group of 9. Easy walk downtown or call a quick uber. Gabe was extremely responsive with all of our messages and made check-in/out a breeze. If you’re looking for a place to stay with family or friends in Portland, I highly recommend!

Home was the perfect size for our family of 5 adults. Everyone had plenty of room and private space. Beautiful home. Walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, markets and parks. The neighborhood is lovely and peaceful. It was nice to be close enough to the Old Port area for the culinary scene, breweries and shops which is a short drive or longer walk. Gabe was very responsive to all the questions from the start. He is very welcoming and communicates well. Would love to stay at thishome again!

Fabulous stay in the West End! Gorgeous, well maintained home perfect for relaxing with family and exploring the Portland area. We stayed in mid-July during a heatwave and appreciated the air conditioning in all the bedrooms. Thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

This is a stunning property in an ideal neighborhood—walkable to excellent restaurants, coffee, etc. The first floor showcases thoughtful design with beautiful art throughout. Our 6 adults + 2 toddlers had plenty of space, and the host was very responsive. However, we can’t recommend this home for summer stays. The cooling struggles significantly—only 2 bedrooms had relatively adequate window AC units while the rest of the house runs quite warm. The 3rd floor AC units are extremely loud and ineffective. We all had trouble sleeping because it was uncomfortably hot. The host was very prompt in coming by to swap out 1 window AC but that did not solve the issue. The home clearly shines in the beautifully appointed first floor, but the upper levels feel less finished. Most areas from kitchens to bathrooms were indeed cleaned, but some cabinets and spaces were a bit dusty and in need of a deeper clean. Overall it has genuine charm, but the cooling issues significantly impacted our stay.
